Course recommendations
Don't do journalism there. You won't learn anything. The lecturers don't really know what they're talking about, and there are no resources (you pay thousands of dollars to hear the lecturers explaining that Deakin can't afford any cameras other than tiny camcorders or proper editing software). Even in third year lectures, all the lecturers teach you about journalism is that "if you do a TV story, you need images" and that "sometimes you have to make diffcult decisions".
