Final comments
Getting around is easy once you get accustomed to the routes in and around town. Know what 'jeepneys' to take to your various destinations and travelling won't be difficult, not to mention very cheap! A metro train runs quite near the university. Take this when traffic becomes a killer, which it usually is during rush hour. If you drive, be wary of the commuter vehicles as they are likely to stop to either pick up or disembark passengers without warning. Food is no problem. Many fastfood, and non-fastfood restaurants are abound. Don't drink from the tap without boiling it first. People are generally friendly. Don't be afraid to put on a smile. :)

Why?
Because it was the most suitable type of accommodation for my needs. Ample Space and proximity were my priorities, and fortunately more than a handful can be found close by.
