I wish I had known...

I wish I had known more about my own country - too many people were interested :-)

I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.

Davidson is very little town with not much night life outside of campus. On campus, there were parties at the fraternities and sororities, and in seniors' apartments. College organizes lots of lectures and concerts, and the church is very active, too. There are things to do in the town during big holidays. But back in 1994/95 there were not so many places to go just to hang out (it's a little different now).

For me it was a totally different experience just from the fact that I could pick up my courses rather than attend pre-selected courses, as we had to do in our home university.
