Use the Fakta, Netto, Aldi supermarkets chains. They are really cheap if you compare them to the normal supermarkets. Very often you can find the same products!
Use the abbonement for bus&train if you can.

Denmark is a very very very expensive country!! Everything was at least 1.5x the price in America, so it was hard getting adjusted to that. However, there is not much you can do about the cost.

Denmark is still in Kroners, so don't think Euros will be fine there. Also, coming from America, I was used to being able to use credit cards. However, that is very rarely used in Denmark and most places only accepted Debit cards, so make sure you have another type of funding if you only use credit cards.
