I think that it is a good idea to go to this university because it is very close to Copenhage. The academic level is good and there are good activities for the students too. The unique inconvenience is the acommodation problem as I have commented before

It is a great place with more of a campus life than I was familiar with. Don't go for the architecture of the DTU but for the level and atmosphere!

Advice: don't get caught for driving a bike without a light or any such things because the fines are pretty high.

From Denmark it is easy to travel around the country. Norway and Sweden must be visited as well as Germany.

-EVEN THE WORST THINGS WILL BE A NICE EXPERIENCE FOR FUTURE SITUATIONS AND EVERYBODY LEARN TO LIVE ALONE.
-MEETING PEOPLE FROM OTHER COUNTRIES IS PROBABLY THE BEST THING OF THIS STAY AND IF SOMEONE HAS THE CHOICE OF WORK IN COLLABORATION WITH A HOST COMPANY, HE/SHE WILL SEE THE WAY OF WORKING THERE, WHICH IS QUITE NICE IN MY OPINION.
