I am absolutely convinced that International Office at CBS is doing terrific job! In particular, when it comes to housing. Even though, I was a free-mover, they helped me just as any exchange student. Even though CBS itself has only few small dormitories dispersed all over the city, they've got a good network of those who are willing to rent an apartment or a room to international students.

Before you go out to clubs, go get beer at a grocery store and pound at home. Saves mucho dinero. Also, stay away from the touristy areas. Buy your food at the grocery store, don't eat out all the time. Ask Danes where they eat.

Expect to get reamed a few times on exchange rates. Things are more expensive in CPH so you have to be smart. Cook at home, drink at home then go out, get a Danish girlfriend (highly recommend).

Night life is good, ask natives for best places because they keep on changing. Stocholm is a good place to go, as it s Berlin and Oslo.
Try also Arhus which is quite near to Kobenhavn.

The place I was place in was not as expected, since they have internet pictures that are far from what you receive. This is due to a variety on the kind of appartment among the same residence place. What you get can be really different from what the next door got even though you are paying the same.

Housing is more expensive, but it's a capital city. Food is also a little bit more expensive, but you can find diffenrent types or shops for that (Netto is one of the less expensive for instance)
