Denmark is pretty expensive for someone from the Czech Republic or any other country in transition. To have the same amount of goods and services I would spend about little more than 1/5 of what needed in Denmark.

Communicationg in English is no problem - almost every Dane speaks English fluently. Nevertheless, Danish is an exciting and funny expreience that you shouldn't miss!

English is a good way to come around. Nearly everybody is able to speak English. During my stay I had only once or twice a problem not to get what I wanted to have.

I had the best time at the private parties - usually on campus or in the private flats. Good place was the Studentenhus - cheap, good music, a lot of young people
