Personal comments
I considered it very unfair (although it would not have changed my grade!!) that they assessed the Thais amongst their own, such that they had better grades than they would have if they included 2 Internationals in the grading... Results in unequal treatment

“Disappointed when chosen Chulalongkorn University”
John
Italy, Graduate
, 2020
Overall
The first, I appreciate Chulalongkorn University gives me an opportunity to study here as an exchange student. However, this University has some issues:
- The facilities are quite old, especially the air conditioner has a bad smell.
- The schedule is not suitable, students must study 6 subjects per week, and 3 hours of class every evening.
- The process is too slow. I got a scholarship for 4 months studying, but nobody explains why they delay it until 3 months.
- The behavior is not good.
Finally, the rental is expensive, not good enough. (Cu ihouse)

Personal comments
I can only recommend you to learn a little Thai in advance; it will make social life much easier and is also useful at university when u have to work with local students; and, believe it or not: it is NOT impossible for a falang to learn it! Once u got an idea, i´t´s atually quite simple (no grammar... :-))

Communication with local people is sometimes restricted to body language. Many Thai students are not fluent in English but communication is ok. When travelling communication is not difficult (exceptions possible!) because most people working in the tourism industry speak at least a little bit of English.
