it's cheap, it's easy to make friends. There's a laundry room, computer room, grocery store, and BAR!

Why?
Location was great - right next to the university, with a computer lab and a pub right in the center of the dorms.
Also, we got to live with Israelis!

The only thing that would make the housing better is if the university could have a program by which the Israeli students had to interview and want to be a "buddy" of their potential overseas roommate - to ensure that students would get placed with roommates who would take the time to get to know them and show them around.
