The best cafe is "Standard" where you can find students of the different countries in the wold.
There are lots of events to go in Würzburg that you can enjoy, but I think the best is the "Weinfest".

I spent many a night in Das Boot, the nightclub, which literally is on a boat - its novel, and fun too, especially on thursday nights when its student night and so cheaper entry.

the partys at the students residences were the best; cafes in downtown; the river main; all is to be missed
