We always gathered in the martini bar (MT Cup) very good martini's! But on Wednesday you definitely have to be in the Lockerroom!! It is totally packed on Wednesdays! And if you wanna dance go to Ball State's small club Dillstreet! Further, if you are in the States try to make the most of it..travel!!!! I have been to Miami by plane, which I will never forget with 12 other international students, and we drove 15 hours to New York, 10 hours to Niagara Falls (tip: go to the Canadian side!)..been to Chicago of course, a 5 hour drive and my Friendship Family (the Naffzigers..I got so lucky, cause they are the best!) took me on a trip to Mackinac Island. And if you are there in the Fall Semester, don't forget to go to the Formula 1 in Indianapolis! ;-) One more thing..go and support the Cardinals in your red-white Ball State outfit!! You have to taste the environment at the American Football matches in the stadium it is awesome!!

The international students are staying in Shively across the Worthen E. Arena, which is great, because all your friends are so close..you go in the elevator up and down..and on every floor you find your friends..believe me you never feel bored! And Shively is known as one of the party buildings :-)

Expenses
Main source of funding:
Family
Other sources of funding:
Government assistance
Work opportunities:
It was not legal for me to work
Personal spending habits
The housing is quite expensive I have to say, but it offers you a lot of facilities and you also pay for your board..so you don't have to pay anything for food! You have your meal card and can eat at any restaurant you like on campus. The nightlife was less expensive also to travel around in the States is less expensive than in Europe!
