Netherlands is a country where almost everybody speaks english, so there was no problem communitcating to people.
I answered to the aboth question negatively, because the program offered us the host country, we could not choose, but when I heard about it, I was eager to learn at least the basics.

I would strongly recommend a student who would like to study in a really international atmosphere, mmet international people and a very interesting country and culture to go to Breda to study.

The best place, I really liked was Cafe Dikke, a small bar, where students first organised a welcome-party for us. Later on, my friends and I always went to that bar, because of the staff, they were also students, and they were amazingly friendly with us! Visit Cafe Dikke when you go to Breda!

A club called MASSA (next to the church!). Lots of cafes downtown.
