You could ask for more, but the University was realy making efforts to offer good accomodation to students.

You can choose courses in English, French or German. Some of the courses will begin very late in the year. It was very difficult to get some information from the administration but the always welcome you with an open smile.

Fortunatly we had the lesxi to eat. It was a big help. Of course I called my family and friend and the distant calls are obviously more expensive. There are more entertainment opportunities.

As far as I seen from the colleagues that chose to live in the dormitory the conditions were far from perfect. They were complaining about the small space, not so modern appliances, poor wireless signal and strict rules concerning guests. But on the other hand the location of the dormitory was in the main campus and nothing compares with sharing your Erasmus experience with a lot of other students coming from all across Europe and bonding with them. My choice was a private flat...the rent was cheaper, but with all the other expenses it proved to be way more expensive at the end. The advantage was a little more privacy and the lack of rules concerning guest and

good to learn how to solve communication problems..you start speaking with your hands,in French,German,Spanish..everything that you know...it's a life experience surviving in Greece without speaking Greek...

As food is concerned, the student restaurant is free. You only have to manage for the week-end. Travelling by train (the old one) and by bus is also very cheap because of your student card.
