American Intercontinental University (AIU)

At first I was amazed by the accomodations but then as time went on the apartment started going downhill. However, you couldn't get any better than the location I had.

My favorite night spots were at Mayfair club, Cheers, Cafe de paris etc. Events that should not be missed include Cirque de Solet, amongst many other plays... Places to go include Paris, Ireland, Italy, Spain even though i did get robbed there.

I can give advice as to travelling.. Well you should know this anyway but don't wait until the last minute to plan something. I lost out on going to many places because by the time you decide on where to do the prices increase. Also go everywhere and anywhere that you can do. It's absolutely amazing! I lived by eating at the Texas Embassy.. I promote that place with everything i have!! Bring a rain jacket and a lot of money. Leave your blowdryer at home and buy all appliances there. It's just a waste of space bringing it and you'll only burn it out. Definitely get a pay as you go cell phone rather than a landline phone. It definitely works so much better.

Communication was not a problem as i was in LOndon.. However when i did some traveling I must say you can run into some problems si it would be wise to carry a translator book around with you.

Generally everything came to be somewhat of a shock because your totally coming out of your relm of doing things to a new atmosphere. It just all takes getting used to whether it be that your paying more for food or walking down the block.
