Communication was not a problem as i was in LOndon.. However when i did some traveling I must say you can run into some problems si it would be wise to carry a translator book around with you.

I did not have any communication or language barriers. Nevertheless, I did learn more technical words and new business vocabulary at my host university in London.

I did not have any barriers to communicating with my peers. I had a great time and was able to interact with so many students from various cultural backgrounds.

For the american out there... don't just go to the Sports Cafe or whatever it is (just to hang out with other americans) ... go to lots of places... way cooler!

Generally everything came to be somewhat of a shock because your totally coming out of your relm of doing things to a new atmosphere. It just all takes getting used to whether it be that your paying more for food or walking down the block.
