Biergarten half way up the schlossberg was amazing, and also the view from the tower on top. The Stusie (STUdentenSIEdlung) is the best place to meet other students from the university, and it's not so far from Feldberg, where you can go snowboarding in the winter (or hiking if you are that way inclined)

stusie bar it´s the best, shot nights and parties are the best in town, check the schlappen and agar, and there are good alternative places too

The night spots, which I attended are located in the City Centre. Social activities were organized by the University (cinema, concerts, etc.)

LeGere. It is a small cafe/restaurant in town near the uni. It was so welcoming, great atmosphere. It was always crowded get there early!
